Second Chakra Defense System

The second Chakra mounts a defense system around the body to protect it from toxins in foodstuff, nervous disorders, and contagious diseases. According to Ilchi Lee it cleanses the body of deeply rooted tension and stress that inhibit procreative activities.

Activation of the second Chakra also translates into maternal love and charity for others, resulting in harmonious relationships characterized by forgiveness and comfort. However, a blocked or impaired second Chakra may lead to negativity and jealousy, resulting in mis-communication with others. It may also lead to maternal love based on control and domination.

Paper, Rock, Scissors, Brain

There are a number of different hand-coordination exercises that can challenge your brain and help you grow new brain connections. In fact, when children play hand-clapping games, they are doing a lot to help develop their own brains. There is no reason that this sort of self-development play should take place only in a schoolyard, though. Practicing and mastering a variety of hand-coordination games will help keep you in the habit of growing new connections for brain flexibility.

As per Mr Ilchi Lee try this one, which is based on the old Rock, Paper, Scissors game. First, practice making the three motions with both hands until you can do it with either hand very quickly and easily. Then, try doing it with both hands together so that one hand is making the symbol that cancels the other. For example, when the right hand is making the rock symbol, the left is making paper. Continue practicing until you can do this very quickly and flu idly.

The Flexible Brain

According to Ilchi Lee the founder of Dahn Yoga once delivered from the ravages of continuous stress, practitioners are ready for the next step, Brain Versatilizing. This step takes advantage of the fact that the brain possesses a remarkable ability, called neuro-plasticity, to restructure and reorganize itself. At one time it was thought that the adult brain is more or less hardwired, but now it’s clear that people possess the ability to create new brain connections until the end of life. This means that we never lose the ability to learn new things and change our personal habits in whatever way we choose.

This does not always mean, however, that change is always easy. The brain strengthens neural connections whenever we repeat a behavior, so habits can become quite entrenched in the brain, even when we know cognitively that the behavior is not advantageous. The exercises and programs in this step help free individuals from emotional and physical habits by accentuating the neuroplasticity of the brain.

Ki Energy, Hyul Blood, Jung Body

Extract From Ilchi Lee’s New Book The principle of Shim-Ki-Hyul-Jung states that, “Where consciousness lies, energy flows, bringing blood and transforming the body.” It implies that consciousness is the true reality behind the reality of form. Breathe in and out a few times to relax your whole body. Then focus your attention on the center of your palms. Keep concentrating and imagine that your palms are becoming hotter than the rest of your body.

After a while, if you measure relative temperatures with a thermometer, the temperature on your palms will have increased compared to the rest of your body. That is because your conscious concentration sent energy to your palms, bringing increased circulation and warmth. When you develop deeper sensitivity, you gain the ability to send energy to any part of your body. You can warm or cool a specific part if you so desire. With an amazing switch, located deep within our consciousness, we can draw on the infinite energy of the cosmos at will. With enhanced concentration comes increased ability to control this access to energy.

When you align consciousness, energy and body with one single wish, and have developed the strength and maturity to maintain and protect that single wish, you will recognize the amazing power of a wish. You will witness the wish, a thought in your consciousness, come into being in the world of form. You will have become a Creator in the fullest sense of the word. To clarify your understanding of Shim-Ki-Hyul-Jung, imagine using a magnifying glass to gather and focus sunlight. If you move the glass around instead of leaving it in one place, then the sunlight is scattered. However, it you maintain exact focus in one place for a prolonged period of time, then the sunlight becomes strong and enough heat builds to create fire. Our thoughts are similarly powerful, capable of generating concentrated energy to express our own divine creativity.

Ilchi Lee View Obstacles as Blessings

No matter how enthusiastic and confident you are about the attainment of your dreams, difficulties will arise. For a lot of people, these obstacles derail their dreams. Somehow, they have developed a fairy-tale idea about how their lives should go. They think that if something is meant to happen it will happen automatically.

In words of Ilchi Lee actually, that is not the way of life at all. Just look around you and notice the natural world. Everything is pushing and struggling to move forward. All the beautiful things on this planet came into being as the result of many years, sometimes millions of years, of suffering and strife. Actually, we modern humans have it very easy, being able to accomplish quite a lot in a short life span while living in relative safety and comfort.

Have you ever seen a dandelion pushing itself up through a crack in the concrete? You need to adopt the same mindset if you really want to blossom in this life.

A Wride-Benefits Democracy

In political terms, we have to affect a true democracy, whose goal is the betterment of all people, not just the elitist few. We can no longer maintain the present relationship between the governors and the governed, but must create a new relationship of common respect and love. We need a Hong-Ik Democracy.

In religious terms, we have to move away from the doctrine of an external, arbitrary God and move into the world ot divinity within, not just as an object ot worship out as an active divinity which we can use to change the world. We should no longer passively worship the divine, but actively use the divine to create a better world. We need to become enlightenment activists. This is the essence of the Enlightenment Revolution: to become spiritual activists. To further this end, religions must rise out of the competition paradigm to which they have been slaves and truly work to raise the collective spiritual consciousness of the human race. For information in details read books by Ilchi Lee.

Founder of Taoism

Ilchi Lee tells in his books so, through Ki training, I was able to see spirits, diagnose people without touching, sheath myself in a protective capsule of energy, manifest incredible physical strengths, and do other “miraculous” things. But I still couldn’t answer the simple question: Why was I born? Without the answer to this question, I would remain someone who could play around with energy, a mere technician. Nothing more. And what good is that? What good knows how to uproot trees without knowing what to use this power for? I was reminded of a story I had heard about Lao Tzu, the founder of Taoism. He had a bright student who trained for ten years in order to be able to control the flow of Ki energy to such an extent that he could form an energy bridge over a nearby river. One day, he showed Lao Tzu what he could do and walked across the river on the invisible energy bridge, back and forth. Expecting high praise, the student was flabbergasted when Lao Tzu turned purple with anger and shouted at him at the top of his voice, “You stupid idiot. You spent ten years to do a stupid trick when, all this time, there was a cheap ferry to get you across the river at any time you wished!”

That’s exactly how I felt like the student. I was nothing more than a show pony.

I wanted the ultimate answers and not cheap thrills.
